Coach Joe Baris
We welcome back Coach Joe Baris! Coach Joe will serve as the 18u Blue Baris Head Coach this season. Last year, Joe served as the 14u Blue Head Coach and the 18u Blue assistant. In his 2 seasons as 14U Head coach, as well as an assistant with the 18U Blue team. In his 2 seasons coaching 14u, the 14U team compiled an absurd 100-21-3 record under his guidance. Coach Joe is a successful veteran coach with a plethora of knowledge, having coached for several years with Coventry Girls Softball League. Coach Joe played baseball at Sacred Heart University. Above all his knowledge, our girls genuinely enjoy playing for Coach Joe, which is the ultimate compliment as a coach.
Coach Brad Ricci
Assisting Coach Joe is Coach Brad Ricci. This will be Coach Brad’s 1st year coaching at FNI, but he has several years of coaching experience. Most recently, Coach Brad served as the Head Coach of 14u RI Thunder in 2023-24 season. Coach Brad has a deep understanding of the pitching aspect of the game.
Coach Brian Vieira
Completing the staff is Coach Brian Vieira. In his 1st season with FNI last year, Brian served as an assistant coach on 14u Red for Head Coach Jason Thornton. Brian brings several years of experience coaching youth softball to FNI. Brian also serves as the Seekonk Middle School coach and coaches his daughter’s 10u softball team in Seekonk.
