Coach Steve Babcock
Welcome back to Coach Steve Babcock! Coach Steve begins his 2nd season with FNI, previously coaching 14u White last season. Coach Steve came to FNI after a highly successful coaching stint with RI Rage! Prior to RI Rage, Coach Steve has a wealth of experience as his softball coaching career started in 2006. Coach Steve has coached from 10u to 18u, including time with Martin Middle School, EP Central, RI Inferno, and Southeast Xtreme. A familiar face to FNI as his daughter, Taylor, is an alum of FNI.
Coach Myke DeCosta
Assisting coach Steve is Myke DeCosta. Coach Myke enters his 2nd season with FNI, after coaching 14u White alongside Coach Steve last year. Coach Myke also stays involved in playing baseball locally.
Coach Taylor Babcock
Joining Coach Steve is his daughter, Taylor Babcock! Coach Taylor is entering her 2nd year on the staff at FNI. Taylor is an alum of FNI, having played for Coach Rob Traverse. Taylor attended Belmont Abbey University in North Carolina before transferring to Rhode Island College for the 23-24 year. Taylor completed a very successful year with RIC, going 10-3 to help RIC to a 31-win season.
